This site does not use analytics, advertising, or tracking of any kind. The only data collected is what you actively submit through one of the forms below.
Data we collect
Project enquiries
Submitted via jacksola.com/enquire. We store email address, project description, timeline, budget. Used solely to respond to your enquiry.
Feedback
Submitted via jacksola.com/feedback. We store the feedback type, message text, optional star rating. No email address or identity is collected with feedback.
Reminder emails
If you request a reminder via the chat interface, we store your email address and scheduled send time. This data is automatically deleted within 48 hours of the scheduled time.
Chat guardrail
To keep the chat friendly and within a sensible inference budget, we store a small server-side record per anonymous session: anonymous session ID, silly-question strike count, estimated inference spend, one-time nudge flag. No personal data is included. This record auto-expires roughly 24 hours after your last message.
Cookies & browser storage
Cookies: One anonymous session cookie is set on your first chat message. It's a random ID with no personal data, used only to key the chat guardrail record above.
localStorage: The feedback form temporarily stores draft text while you type; this is cleared when you submit or leave the page. No personal data is stored.
None of this browser storage is shared with third parties.
Data storage & retention
Server-side data is stored in Upstash Redis (EU region). Enquiry and feedback records are retained until manually reviewed and cleared. Reminder records are auto-deleted within 48 hours of sending. Chat guardrail records auto-expire roughly 24 hours after your last message.
Email notifications are sent via Resend. Emails are not stored beyond transit.
Your rights
Under GDPR and UK data protection law, you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of any personal data held about you. To exercise these rights, email hey@jacksola.com with your request.
For enquiry data, include the email address you used and an approximate date of submission so we can locate your record.
